We are entering an era of globalization in the 21st century. Many things have become closer and their interaction is more complex. The social-economic system is a complex system that is affected by the thinking of human being. Some concepts, such as non-linearity, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity, chaos and so on, have appeared in natural sciences. A new category of science, i.e., complex science, is emerging with the rapid growth of information technology and network. As a novel theory of management, complex science management has formed its theoretical system and been widely applied in capital market, supply chain management and emergency management.
The International Conference on Complex Science management was first held in Wuhan in 2010 and continued in Beijing (2011) and Toronto (2012). Each time it has received great attention and participation from colleagues at home and abroad. What is more, there is a competition of outstanding paper each year, and the award will be given by Professor Xu Xusong, president of the Xu Xusong Complex Science Management Foundation. This year, the meeting will again be held in Wuhan, as part of the celebration activities to honor the 120th Anniversary of Wuhan University. Many experts and scholars at home and abroad will be invited and discussion will cover a wide range of fields including CSM fundamental theory, research methodology and its application in social, economical and management science. It will turn into an international event in CSM field and stimulate high-level interaction among experts and scholars.
Everyone is warmly welcomed to submit their papers. The conference will set up Xu Xusong CSM Award and give it to the authors of outstanding papers, with one first prize (10,000 Yuan), two second prizes (5,000 Yuan) and three third prizes (2,000 Yuan). All awards will be handed out at the conference.

六、Paper Requirements
1. Paper should be written in English using MS Word and submitted by email to the Organization Committee.
2. Each paper will include Abstract, Keywords, Instruction, Text, Conclusion and References. Please include in Instruction an analysis of current research and existing issues at home or abroad.
3、Please download paper format at www.ems.whu.edu.cn/csm and strictly follow it, with footnote but no header.
4、Please attach personal information, including author’s affiliation, title, position and E-Mail address when submitting papers.
5、Please take responsibility not to submit the same paper to other conferences.
七、Conference publication
All papers accepted by the conference will be put into IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI.
Some outstanding papers will be recommended for publication on SCI journals after modification.

九、Paper publication fee
After review and approval, authors will be notified to register and pay publication fee, 2,100 Yuan per paper (5 pages limit) and extra 300 Yuan each additional page.
十、Important Dates
（1）July 15, 2013 is the submission deadline.
（2）Approval notice will be sent out by August 15, 2013.
（3）Fees will be paid by September 15, 2013.
（4）September 30, 2013 is the registration deadline.
